Name of customer: John Neale :: Brief details of your catches: 61 carp. 9 doubles, 40 x 20+, 10 x 30+, 2 x 40's (48lbs and 48lbs 4oz) :: What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Most were caught on CC Moore "Live System" boilies bought on site and some fish were caught on "Cell". Fished over hemp and pellets (10mm and 4,5mm) :: Were the facilities what you expected? Yes & better :: Were you happy with them? Very satisfied :: Would you recommend this venue to a friend? Yes thoroughly recommend to friends and local angling club. Good facilities, well stocked lake, good swims & hard standings to fish from, paths even and cut nicely :: General comments: Friendly approach to visitors & professional sound advice given if requested. Jeff is very knowledgeable about the lake. Food was excellent with plenty of it, all round good value for money. The fishing far exceeded our expectations as first time visitors (John & Andy). The old hands found things to be the same high standards.

Name of customer: Stuart Rawlings :: Brief details of your catches: Total 65 carp. 8 high doubles - 39 x 20+ (many high 20s) - 18 x 30+. Biggest mirror and common both 37lbs :: What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Single boilies cast to open water with 50-60 boilies scattered around after each fish. We used Shoreline Baits, GLM sausage oil boilies :: Were the facilities what you expected? Great facilities, especially the new shower. Food was excellent and plenty of it :: Would you recommend this venue to a friend? Totally and already have. This was our second visit :: General comments: Fishing excellent. Fishing close to snags optimised catch rate at times but often produced smaller fish. Three anglers smashed their PBs on more than one occasion. Fish were all in perfect condition. We had 13 commons, 4 grass and 48 mirrors.

Name of customer: Graham Mabey :: Brief details of your catches: 6 twenties and 4 thirties including a 36lb 6oz Mirror and 33lb 8oz Common :: What did you find were the best tactics/baits: One baited spot on the edge of a gravel patch produced 80% of the fish all week :: Were the facilities what you expected? Yes, excellent :: Would you recommend this venue to a friend? Yes, ideal for a fun, relaxed trip with friends to France. Great lake, great fish :: General comments: Great relaxing week. Fished fairly tough but I like a challenge. Great hosts, food and fishing. Perfect holiday. I'll be back with some tuition groups next year.

Yes :: General comments: Jeff was very attentive even though we were self catering. New chairs are lovely. Beautiful lake, wonderful wildlife, great fishing. All round A*.
